The highlight of the celebration was the staging of the musical drama, “Dream It…Achieve It”, which offered a peek into the online education carried out by the school during the past two years of the pandemic. A medley of songs by the school’s brass band, and choral performances by the Salesians and the school staff, were part of the programme.
Speaking during the celebration on February 12, Fr. Savio Silveira, Mumbai Salesian Provincial, said that it was indeed the grace of God that Don Bosco Matunga was today one of the best schools in the entire country and a landmark in the city of Mumbai. Fr. Silveira reminded the staff and students of the need to take forward God’s plans and that what we achieve is thanks to the constant accompaniment and grace of God. He emphasized that as the school reaches this important milestone, it must keep moving forward, continuing to create great memories, for the future. A special commemorative Oak Anniversary magazine was also released by Fr. Silveira on this happy occasion.
