Amatitán, Mexico - September 2016 - Members of the Formation Commission of the Inter-America Region gathered from 12 to 15 September to exchange information, share and reflect on formation in the region. The 14 participants included Fr Salvador Murguía who is a member of the team of the Department for Formation. They reflected deeply on the formation experience, received clarifications on their work and concluded the meeting with the decision to continue the programme of shared formation as laid down by the Salesian Congregation.

Rome, Italy - September 2016 - On 3 September, Fr Stefano Martoglio, Councillor for the Mediterranean Region, presided at the Eucharistic celebration during which six Salesians and one Daughter of Mary Help of Christians made their Perpetual Profession. 

Fusagasugá, Colombia - September 2016 - A meeting of Rectors took place from 7 to 9 September with the goal of sharing information on the status of the Province of Bogotá (COB). The meeting was attended by the members of the Provincial Council, the Councillor General for Social Communication, Fr Filiberto González, and the Rectors and delegates of the provincial services.

Ecuador - Salesian Youth Ministry Week

Salcedo, Ecuador - September 2016 - Salesian Youth Ministry week is taking place at the Rivotorto Conference Centre until September 16, with over 60 Salesians and lay people who have positions of responsibility in Salesian Ecuador. The participants have had moments of reflection, study and experiential practice at personal and community level, aimed at strengthening their Salesian identity and charism.
