Namaacha, Mozambique – December 3rd, 2016 – On December 3rd, in the parish sanctuary “Our Lady of Fatima”, there was the priestly ordination of Salesian deacon Benedito João Simone, through the imposition of hands of the Auxiliary Bishop of Maputo, Msgr. João Carlos Hatoa Nunes. The Eucharist was concelebrated by the Superior of Mozambique Vice-Province, Fr. Marco Biaggi, the Parish Priest, Fr. Agostinho Raúl, and several priests of the Salesian Congregation and of other religious families.

Lubumbashi, D.R. Congo – December 2016 – On December 3-4, the people in charge of Missionary Animation of the Salesian Family in Africa Central Province (AFC) organised the second encounter entitled  “Missionary School”. 94 young missionaries participated in the encounter of missionary formation, studying various themes, such as the First Announcement, Missionary Leadership, how to run a meeting and various missionary activities.

Gabutu, Papua New Guinea – December 1st, 2016 – On December 1st, at the closing of the school year, the students of the “Don Bosco Technical School” in Gabutu celebrated, as a community, the feast of Christmas. Each class presented a Christmas message with carols, dances and mime shows.
