Ecuador - Development project for 120 Indigenous women inaugurated
Salinas de Guaranda, Ecuador - January 17, 2020 - In the city of Salinas de Guaranda the "Factory of Herbal Teas and Essential Oils" was inaugurated, a project fulfilled thanks to the funding of the Junta of Andalusia (Spain), the management of the Spanish NGOs "Solidaridad Don Bosco" and "Bosco Global". This project will contribute to the local and economic development of 120 Indigenous women. The opening ceremony of the activities was attended by Begoña Simal, an official of “Bosco Global”, Lina Varón, cooperator of the “Jóvenes y Desarollo” Foundation, Gabriel Terán, coordinator of the Projects Office of the Salesian Province of Ecuador (ECU), and other local figures. Another of the projects carried out in this sector is the "Strengthening of the production chain of aromatic plants" carried out by the "Salesian Family Foundation of Salinas", an entity that has been promoting projects for the most disadvantaged for over 20 years.
