Vatican - Pope Francis appoints director of Vatican Press Office
Vatican City, Vatican - 18 July 2019 - Pope Francis has appointed Matteo Bruni director of the Holy See Press Office, starting from 22 July 2019. Matteo Bruni was born on 23 November 1976 in Winchester (Great Britain). He graduated in Modern and Contemporary Languages & Literature at Rome's La Sapienza University. He has been working at the Holy See Press Office since July 2009, where he followed the operations of accreditation of journalists and the management of operational communications to the press as coordinator of the Accreditation Section.
