Austria - Salesian Forum 2018
Vienna, Austria - August 2018 - The Salesian Forum 2018 was held from 21 to 24 August, attended by thirty people from Salesians, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and lay people from eight European countries. Among them are the Salesian provincials of Austria and Great Britain and the provincial of the FMA of Austria-Germany. The theme of the study week was the "presence" in Salesian education. The importance of presence was studied from different perspectives: phenomenological, historical, spiritual, pedagogical, ethical. What it means to "be present" for the educator in everyday life, in the street world and in the digital world was deepened, studied, discussed.
