Poland - Procession of Three Kings with participation of Salesians
Krakow, Poland - January 2018 - On 6 January, the Procession of the Three Kings took place in over 600 Polish cities and towns, as it does every year. In Krakow, the event had a strong Salesian accent as the "Green" group, which symbolized the Asian continent, began its journey towards the main square to reach the other two groups, "Red" for the European continent and "Blue" for Africa, at the Salesian parish of St Stanislao Kostka, after the Eucharist presided over by Fr Adam Parszywka, Provincial of Krakow. At the head of the Salesian procession, a copy of the "Immortals" icon, with a cross made with the pieces of a bomb dropped on Aleppo, a reference to the Christian martyrs, and an expression of a prayer for Christians persecuted in the Middle East. Along the way, two important Salesian organizations in Krakow also took part: the Missionary Volunteer Workers "Młodzi Światu", and "SALTROM", which takes care of children and young people, especially those in difficulty.
