Spain - Tenth anniversary of the beatification of Spain's martyrs
Tui-Vigo, Spain - November 4, 2017 - The Diocesan Bishop of Tui-Vigo, Msgr. Luis Quinterio Fiuza, presided at the solemn Eucharist on the 10th anniversary of the beatification of the second group of martyrs of the Salesian Family killed in Spain during the 1936-39 persecutions in what were the ancient Betica and Tarraconense Provinces. During the commemoration, Msgr Quinteiro blessed a wall painting representing the 95 martyrs of the Salesian Family and the "Arca memoriae martyrum", a reliquary urn hosting the relics of 21 of these martyrs.
