Malta - Conclusion of Rector Major's Visit
Senglea, Malta - September 2017 - On the morning of the third and final day of the Rector Major's visit to the Delegation of Malta, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime and fellow Salesians visited the famous underground "Hypogeum Hal Saflieni", a site dated 4000 BC, and "Fort St. Angelo", a historic fortification strategic to protecting the island. Subsequently, the Rector Major visited the Salesian community of Senglea, Malta's most recent, and in the evening, the "Osanna Pia" house; run by the Salesian Delegation, the latter houses homeless young people of various nationalities. Fr Á.F. Artime started the meeting with a prayer and blessing of the present and then had a fatherly dialogue with the house's young guests.
