Chennai, India – April 2025 – The Salesian Provinces of Chennai (INM) and Tiruchy (INT) jointly hosted Youth Easter 2025, a three-day spiritual journey held April 10–12 at the Don Bosco Youth Animation Center in Ennore.
Around 60 young people from various Salesian parishes across Tamil Nadu gathered to explore the deep meaning of Christ’s Passion, Death, and Resurrection. The retreat began with an inspiring session led by Fr. John Christy (INM) and Fr. Charles (INT), encouraging youth to embark on a journey of faith and self-discovery.
Sessions throughout the retreat delved into themes such as missionary discipleship and the significance of Easter in the Old and New Testaments. Liturgical moments like washing of the feet, a pilgrimage, and the Way of the Cross created impactful spiritual experiences. Many participants also received the Sacrament of Reconciliation, finding peace and renewal. The final day began with a reflective sunrise session on Ennore Beach, followed by a thanksgiving Mass celebrating the joy of the Resurrection and new life.
