Titled “Industrial Competence Centers: A New Model for Railway Industry Training,” the event highlighted innovative Salesian vocational initiatives. The focus was on the new Branch Training Center (BCU) being developed at the Salesian Vocational School in Łódź, in collaboration with PKP Intercity S.A. and the Association of Railway Employers.
Starting in September 2025, both youth and adults will be able to enhance their skills in railway mechatronics at the Łódź BCU. A similar center is also being developed in Siedlce, focused on railway system interoperability.
The conference concluded with a panel discussion on collaboration between the railway sector and vocational education.
“We’re proud to be part of this forward-thinking project and to support the development of future specialists,” the Salesians said.
