Poland – Annual Spiritual Retreat of Salesian Cooperators in Krakow Province
Krakow, Poland – April 2025 – On April 5th, the Salesian Seminary in Krakow hosted the annual spiritual retreat for Salesian Cooperators (SSCC) from across the Krakow Province (PLS), with the theme “Lord, my God, in You I have placed my trust.”
After a year-long break, around 70 SSCC members from various local communities, including three from Odessa, Ukraine, gathered for this important moment. The central highlight was the Eucharist, presided by Fr. Zygmunt Kostka, Vice Provincial, with a heartfelt homily by Fr. Andrzej Gołębiowski, who shared his personal experiences from his priestly ministry.
Participants also attended a theatrical performance of the Passion of Christ, held annually at the Seminary’s Salesian Theater. The retreat included time for sharing joys and challenges within their Salesian communities. At the close of the event, Provincial Coordinator Andrzej Wanat shared updates on the national SSCC pilgrimage to significant Don Bosco sites, planned for September in preparation for the 150th anniversary of the Salesian Cooperators’ Association.
