Rome, Italy – March 2025 – The 14th edition of the “Motodays 2025” event, held at the Nuova Fiera di Roma from March 6 to 8, provided a significant platform for the Vocational Training Center (CFP- Centro di Formazione Professionale) of the Salesian House of Gerini. This event was an opportunity to showcase the institution’s programs and training offerings. At Motodays, the Gerini CFP highlighted its wide range of professional courses for young people and adults, with a particular focus on the automotive and bodywork sectors. “Vocational training is a fundamental tool for us to promote employment and personal growth,” emphasized Salesian coadjutor Br. Angelo Mereghetti.

March 6 was marked by a special educational outing: 120 students from eight mechanical courses had the chance to immerse themselves in the world of engines, an enriching and stimulating learning experience. Throughout the three-day event, the CFP Gerini booth was animated by students, trainers, and a Salesian representative, welcoming numerous visitors, including many alumni. The activities and the Salesian approach to education were presented, emphasizing care for young people, passion for work, and personal development.

A pleasant surprise at Motodays 2025 was reconnecting with the friends of Motorismo, who once again showed great interest in the mission of CFP Gerini. A project that particularly captured their attention was the reconstruction of a Piaggio “Sì” moped, entirely carried out by the students. This project showcased the students' skills and passion, serving as a concrete example of what can be achieved through vocational training.
