Goma, D.R. Congo – March 2025 – On March 15, hundreds of students at Don Bosco Ngangi College participated in a Lenten retreat, organized by the "Saint Joseph" Delegation of East Africa (AFC-EST).
The retreat focused on the theme: "The Power of Prayer, Fasting, and Sharing."
Guided by Fr. Levi Shimira, SDB, from the "Mamma Margherita" Community, the retreat began with a conference, prompting students to reflect on how prayer, fasting, and acts of charity can strengthen their spiritual lives during Lent.
The day included:
✔️ Sacramental Confession
✔️ Eucharistic Celebration – a profound moment of collective prayer and reconciliation
This spiritual gathering offered students a valuable opportunity to reaffirm their faith and integrate the core Lenten values of forgiveness and fraternal love into their daily lives.
