K 'long, Vietnam – October 2024 – The Don Bosco Retreat Centre in K 'long hosted the annual meeting of the Salesian Cooperators of Vietnam, held on 12 and 13 October, in the presence of the Superior of the Salesian Province of Vietnam, Fr Barnabas Le An Phong, numerous Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and about 500 Salesian Cooperators. During the days, numerous activities, musical performances and conferences were held, including an address by Fr Barnabas Le An Phong on the theme of the Dream. The Provincial illustrated Don Bosco's Dream at Nine Years of Age to those present, underlining how it continues to be "a guide for us to holiness". He then went on to say that this dream must continue to be a help for others, to live in humility and charity. Following this, Fr Barnabas Le An Phong celebrated Mass at the parish church of K 'long. After the homily, all those present rejoiced at the promise of 25 new Salesian Cooperators.
