Spain – Election of the new president of the ACSSA, Spain
Madrid, Spain – October 2024 – The Associazione Cultori di Storia Salesiana or Salesian History Association (ACSSA) in Spain met at the new Casa Don Bosco headquarters in Ensanche de Vallecas on 19 October. On the agenda of this important meeting for ACSSA, Spain was the election of a new president, since the previous one had to resign for health reasons. Fr Jesús-Graciliano González, who had previously held the position, was elected president with an overwhelming majority of votes. His election marks a new chapter for ACSSA in Spain, in the hope that under his expert guidance the association will continue to carry out its mission of promoting and disseminating Salesian history, especially in Spain.
