Ecuador – Ecuador will be represented at the next Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival with 13 short films
Quito, Ecuador – August 2024 – At the next Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival (DBGYFF), Ecuador will be represented by 13 short films. In line with the theme chosen for this 2024 edition they will reflect a variety of perspectives and approaches on how to face current ecological challenges. From productions denouncing pollution and climate change to those proposing innovative and sustainable solutions, the young directors of the Communication course at the Salesian Polytechnic University used this art form as a powerful means to inspire action and raise awareness. Within the globally qualified jury, Ecuador will also be represented by Cristina Naranjo, UPS teacher, Mónica Ulloa, Coordinator of the "Don Bosco Audiovisuals" (ADB), David Cevallos, contact person for Communication of the Cardinal Spellman Salesian Educational Unit and Marco Padilla, from the Salesian Communication Office team.
