Honduras – The first regional meeting of the Salesian Youth Movement
Tegucigalpa, Honduras – July 2024 – The first regional meeting of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) in Honduras was held on 20 July in Tegucigalpa. The event brought together 85 young people from the Mary Help of Christians Parish and the Saint Michael Salesian Institute. The day was characterised by joy and moments of prayer and deep reflection, consolidating the typically Salesian family spirit among the participants. The day began with the Eucharist, presided over by Fr Efrén Artiga at the St John Bosco National Youth Shrine, which was followed by various moments of fun, leisure and, above all, reflection. This first regional meeting was characterised as a space for listening, with the aim of continuing to walk together towards the future of young Salesians in Honduras.
