Turin, Italy – July 2024 – The first round of ADMA Primary’s Summer Spiritual Exercises based on the theme of "The lamp for my footsteps is your Word", concluded on Sunday, 7 July. The retreat days took place at Valdocco, from Thursday 4 to Sunday 7 July and involved some 40 people belonging to different ages and circumstances: families with young children and young people, adults and the elderly, to underline the mission of the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA) in offering intergenerational formation proposals, in which people who are going through different phases of life can enrich each other and walk together, united by common faith in Jesus and entrusting themselves to Mary Help of Christians. The catecheses were guided with great care and depth by Fr Gabriel de Jesus Cruz Trejo, Spiritual Animator of the ADMA Primary. Also valuable was the involvement of Sister Lucrecia Uribe Duque, Daughter of Mary Help of Christians, Spiritual Animator of the Association, who accompanied the participants, fostering a climate of friendship and sharing. This first round of Exercises will be followed in August, as has been the tradition for many years, by five rounds organised in the Salesian house in Pracharbon, in Val d'Ayas (Val d'Aosta).
