Papua New Guinea – 500 participants in Boroko's "Dreamers' Camp": "Transforming dreams: dream, live, love like Don Bosco"
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea – March 2024 – The first session of the Dreamers' Camp was held from 1 to 3 March at the Don Bosco Technological Institute in Boroko, on the theme "Transforming dreams: dream, live, love like Don Bosco", inspired by the Rector Major's Strenna 2024. About 500 participants, including students, staff and student facilitators, gathered to study Don Bosco's dream at nine years of age and the elements of Salesian youth spirituality. The event was conceived and accompanied by the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and the pastoral team on the occasion of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the institute and the Bicentenary of Don Bosco's childhood dream. The second session of the meeting will take place from 8 to 10 March.
