India – Priestly ordination of seven Salesians of the Province of Tiruchy, India
Madurai, India – December 2023 – In a joyful ceremony held on 29 December and presided over by Archbishop Antony Pappusamy, archbishop of Madurai, seven Salesians from the Province of India-Tiruchy (INT) received priestly ordination. In his homily, Archbishop Pappusamy urged the new priests to be faithful ministers of the Gospel, committed to serving the needs of the Church and the people, especially the young. The ceremony was attended by numerous faithful, the family members of the newly ordained and Fr Agilan Sarprasadam, Superior of INT.
