Rome, Italy - November 2023 - The Regional Leaders of the Don Bosco Volunteers (VDB) from the twelve Regions that the Institute counts on in the European continent, together with the majority of the members of the Central Council, met in Rome, at the Maria SS Bambina house from 16-19 November 2023. 18 consecrated women and the Central Assistant took part in the work. The meeting opened with a greeting and welcome from the Institute's President General. After a retreat, the programme of the meeting allowed the participants to develop various reflections on the current situation in the VDB Regions and groups in the various European countries where they are located, and to propose some guidelines for the future of the Institute. A similar assembly has already been held in October in Vietnam with the Regional Leaders of the Asian continent, and another will be held in February 2024 in Buenos Aires for the VDBs in Latin America. Furthermore, the VDB Institute is starting preparations for the next General Assembly to be held in July 2025, which will involve all the Regions of the world.
