Chennai, India - November 2023 - The District Don Bosco Scouts & Guides Association celebrated its 25th anniversary on 18 November at St Bede's Anglo-Indian HSS, Santhome, Chennai. The meeting was attended by around 1,500 scouts and guides from Salesian schools in Tamil Nadu, with numerous guests of honour including religious, civil and Association personalities. Also present were the Superior of the Salesian Province of Chennai (INM), Fr Don Bosco Lourdusamy, and the Superior of the Salesian Province of Tiruchy (INT), Fr Agilan Sarprasadam. For the occasion, the students performed various cultural programmes and organised a special dance with the Jubilee hymn. The Leaders/Formers were honoured with meritorious awards for their valuable years of service to the association.
