Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – June 2023 - On Thursday 15 June there was a ceremony at the Provincial Headquarters of the Salesians of the Antilles (ANT), to hand over the first 35 diplomas of the Salesian PLUS School of Communication to students from various Salesian works who have successfully completed the 7 steps that accredit them as "Salesian Communicators". The event took place in person and digitally so that the graduates could receive this last step in their training, focused on Corporate Communication, managed by Aimée Rosa. The PLUS initiative lasts two years and has allowed participants to explore topics such as communication, theology, writing, speech making, photography, social networks… to develop skills that allow them to contribute adequately to communication in each work. It is a study program focused on the development and achievement of the knowledge and technical skills required by the people involved in the coordination of communication in Salesian works, and organised by the Provincial Commission for Communication, led by Carlos Cuevas, who together with his team accompanied each of the meetings. Fr José Pastor Ramírez, ANT Provincial, nvited them in his greeting to graduates to continue to grow and develop as professionals, in the world of communication and beyond, because they are the ones who will lead the work in the future and show the world the true essence of the Salesian charism.
