Taiwan - Salesian Youth Movement inspired by St. Artemide Zatti
Tainan, Taiwan - October 2022 - Among the more than 1,000 students at the "Tainan Salesian Technical School," only five are Catholic and are accompanied by Salesian catechists. A few days after the canonization of St. Artemide Zatti, these young people took part in a meeting to learn more about the figure of the new Salesian coadjutor saint and be inspired by him in their faith journey as members of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM). The meeting was led by the head of the school's Salesian Youth Group, Augustin Zhang, who urged the students to model themselves after St. Artemide Zatti by setting three goals: to always be joyful and cheerful, to do one's duty well, and to take care of one's companions.
