Brazil - Fr Ladislau Klinicki celebrates his 107th birthday
São Paulo, Brazil - June 2021 - Fr Ladislau Klinicki, the longest-living Salesian in the world, celebrated his 107th birthday last June 1. Born in Poland in 1914 and arrived in Brazil in 1968, Fr Klinicki is a true pillar of the Salesian community of “Santa Teresina” in São Paulo. His life has been marked by numerous events, such as his imprisonment in a Nazi concentration camp during the Second World War. Author of important publications, Fr Klinicki has never lost his faith and his optimism.
