Spain - Over 4,500 people vaccinated in Salesian parish of Montserrat
Zaragoza, Spain - May 2021 - Among the new non-medical spaces that have been enabled in Zaragoza to accelerate the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 there are several parishes. Among these, the Salesian parish “Our Lady of Montserrat”, with more than 4,500 people vaccinated, with an average of 375 people a day. Users enter the parish from the parish offices where there is space to ensure the maximum safety distance, and after a first check up, they enter the chapel where the health staff administers the vaccine. Then they observe the recommended rest of 15 and 20 minutes on the church pews and, once ensured they do not suffer from immediate side effects, they leave the church through the front entrance door.
