Panama - After seven months, "Mary Help of Christians" temple reopens to faithful
Panama City, Panama - October 2020 - Following the security protocols established by the national government, after 7 months of closure due to the pandemic, on Sunday 25 October, with the celebration of Mass, the "Mary Help of Christians" temple of the Don Bosco Technical Institute reopened its doors to the faithful. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr Alex Figueroa Ruíz and concelebrated by Fr Francisco Rodríguez and Fr Edward de La O. Before the reopening, the temple was subjected to rigorous cleaning and disinfection to ensure the health safety of the participants with a group of collaborators having been trained on the protocols to follow. 80 people can now participate in the Mass and, upon entry, their temperature is measured, hand gel is provided, and footwear is disinfected.
