India - Awareness campaign to fight Covid-19
New Delhi, India - April 2020 - The Salesians of New Delhi, together with a team of doctors led by Dr Vijay, are carrying out awareness-raising programs for the fight against Covid-19 for slum dwellers, who are most affected by the isolation imposed to contain the coronavirus. In particular, basic hygiene rules to prevent contagion are explained and masks, soaps and disinfectants are distributed to the poorest. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Salesians of New Delhi have already distributed over 5,000 masks.
