Uruguay - Salesian goodnight to accompany people in pandemic
Montevideo, Uruguay - March 2020 - The arrival of the pandemic caused by COVID -19 in Uruguay and the consequent quarantine recommended by the government and adopted by a large majority have altered the daily life of Uruguayans. Living in quarantine or facing illness, one's own or that of a family member, is a real challenge to one's spiritual and emotional balance. In order to accompany people who are experiencing feelings such as fear, anguish and despair, the Salesians of Don Bosco offer at the end of each day a reflection that allows you to read the events with an outlook of faith, in the format of Salesian good nights and with the slogan "We will do everything in half". The traditional good night is given by 4 Salesians: the Provincial of Uruguay Fr Alfonso Bauer; Fr Francisco Lezama, Fr Sebastián Ferreira (who studies in Rome) and deacon Nicolás Soto. The good night is shared at the end of the day in the social networks managed by "Comunicación Salesiana" on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @salesianosuy
