Towards the 150th anniversary of the Past Pupils: some things to know
On June 24, 1870, the "Società degli Antichi Allievi del Salesiano Oratorio, ie Society of Antique Students of the Salesian Oratory" was established in Valdocco, from which the Past Pupils Association of Don Bosco later develops.
Carlo Gastini (1833 - 1902) was one of the first young internees to live in the residence of the Oratory.
In 1908, under the impulse of Fr Filippo Rinaldi, the idea of an International Federation of Past Pupils was born.
