Songkhla, Thailand - June 2018 - Sports Day took place on June 28 and 29 at the Salesian "Saengthong Vitthaya School" with the participation of the students, divided into 4 teams, who competed in various disciplines with a show of competitive spirit and mutual respect. The day was promoted to educate young people through sport.

Arcinazzo, Italy - July 2018 - From July 1 to 7, 20 young people from the Salesian Vocational Training Centers of the "Borgo Ragazzi Don Bosco", "Teresa Gerini" and "Pius XI" participated in the Work Camp 2018 at Casal Biancaneve of Arcinazzo. The work camp consists of an intense work experience and residential formation to enhance the skills of each participant in work such as electrical repairs, decorating rooms, gardening, cooking and table service. The young people, accompanied by five formators (two Salesians and three Salesian Cooperators), also lived moments of leisure, prayer and sharing.

Guwahati, India - July 2018 - From 2 to 6 July at the Don Bosco school in Panbazar, the Salesian Province of Guwahati (ING) organized the "Mini-Boscoree" 2018, on the theme "Health, harmony and holiness". The event was attended by 179 Scouts, 251 Guides, 39 Scout Masters and Head Guides, coming from 15 schools of the ING Province.

Asunción, Paraguay - July 2018 - On 7 July in the parish "Virgen del Carmen" of Carmelo Peralta, the Salesian missionary Vicente Nguyen Quoc Bao, originally from Vietnam, was ordained a priest by the laying on of hands and the consecratory prayer of Msgr. Gabriel Escobar, SDB, bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of the Chaco Paraguayo. Salesian religious, FMA, faithful and young people took part in the priestly ordination, the first celebrated in the Chaco Paraguayo.

Paranhos da Beira, Portugal - June 2018 – On June 24, the local center of the Salesian Cooperators of Paranhos da Beira welcomed four new members during the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the National Delegate of the association, Fr Joaquim Taveira da Fonseca, SDB.

Turin, Italy - July 2018 - There are 16 prenovices from all over Europe who have started the Italian language course at Colle Don Bosco to enable them to do their novitiate in Italy. Throughout the 8 weeks (June 30-August 25) of the course, the prenovices carry out an intense experience of Salesian life in the community and spend most of their time attending the intensive Italian language course with specialized teachers.
