Fr Tadeusz Rozmus, Councillor for the Region of Central and Northern Europe, expressed satisfaction with the progress of the Visit to the Atlantic-German Zone in the region because, he said, "we are strengthening the unity between the Provinces, acknowledging a reality which is changing, and facing the challenges of the new society with concrete decisions.”
(ANS - Monrovia) - On Saturday, 6 May, the day when the Salesian Family remembers St Dominic Savio, approximately 1500 Catholics of the Parish of the Holy Innocents in Monrovia participated in the re-dedication of their parish church. The parish is in the care of the Salesians.
(ANS – Trivandrum) – East Fort Junction is one of the main hotspots for migrant workers in Trivandrum. From as early as 5.30 am, large numbers of migrant workers gather here daily, waiting for potential employers who might offer them the day’s work. You can hear hard bargaining for the day’s wages ranging from Rs.550 to Rs. 900. Not every day is lucky for many of them. Thinking of them, Don Bosco Veedu, Trivandrum, set up “Shramik Kalyan Kendr” (SKK), a help desk for the young migrant workers living in Trivandrum.
