Thailand – "Bearers of Hope": Annual Spiritual Retreat for Salesians of Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos
Hua Hin, Thailand – March 2025 – The Salesians of Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos recently held their annual spiritual retreat in two sessions: the first from February 23 to March 1 and the second from March 2 to March 8. Fr. Joel Camaya, SDB, a professor and scholar of Sacred Scripture and Philosophy from the Philippines, led the retreat at the Salesian Retreat House in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan. Themed "Bearers of Hope," the retreat encouraged participants to embrace the grace of the Jubilee Year 2025, deepening their spiritual journey with a renewed sense of hope. A key focus was the invitation to reaffirm God’s call, highlighting the importance of faithfully living out the evangelical counsels. This commitment is essential for Salesian consecrated life, enabling them to become true "Bearers of Hope" for God’s people, especially the youth.
