(ANS - Ky Anh) – Exactly as the weather forecast, the hurricane No. 10 was the stronghest hurricanes during the last ten years. It hit to the middle of Viet Nam around 10am September 17 and caused great damage. Don Bosco Ky Anh Technical Center located in Ky Anh District of Ha Tinh Province was at the heart of this hurricane that was why it was destroyed heavily because of the speed of the wind around 150km/hour.
(ANS - Ancona) - Create an opportunity, for families facing difficulties, to provide support for their children, help them with judicial matters, prevent abandonment. Non-invasive support, which does not replace the family, but supports them in a flexible fashion across a variety of educational activities. With this aim in mind, the Salesians of Ancona decided to give rise to the day center "Il Faro," the Lighthouse.
(ANS - Mexico City) - The earthquake bearing a magnitude of 7.1° on the Richter scale that struck Mexico on Tuesday, September 19, has caused hundreds of victims: 217, according to the Civil Protection Service as of this morning, but the number may increase due to the high probability that there are people trapped under collapsed buildings.

RMG – Don Bosco: “The Fascinating Saint”
(ANS - Rome) - Don Bosco is perhaps the most amazing and fascinating saint, history has ever produced. The humble work which he began for the welfare of his poor and abandoned boys in Italy has produced astonishing results, and today there are nearly 14000 Salesians working in 138 countries, and there are more than 200,000 members belonging to the 32 groups of the worldwide Salesian Family sharing the charism of Don Bosco and reaching out to the needy young people.

Dear friends and readers, members of the Salesian Family, for this month's greeting in the Salesian Bulletin I will focus on a very important event that the Salesian Congregation is holding presently: General Chapter XXIX. This assembly, the most important one that the Congregation can experience, occurs every six years along the Salesian Congregation’s journey.
