The SMV Advisory Team has been working tirelessly to enhance volunteering, making it more impactful, accessible, and far-reaching. Our latest SMV booklet, now available in English and Spanish, is being shared throughout the Salesian world—an essential guide for those ready to embark on the journey of missionary volunteering.
In addition, an online formation program is being developed for SMV coordinators to ensure that our volunteers are well-prepared and deeply formed before they step into their mission. We bring together experts, experienced volunteers, and Salesian leaders to equip volunteers with everything they need to serve effectively and with heart.

One of the most exciting upcoming events is our SMV Advisory Team Meeting, taking place in in Italy, at Cagliari (Sardegna) and Roma - Sacro Cuore, this June. This gathering is more than just meetings and logistics—it is about vision, strategy, and growth. We will be reviewing our Strategic Plan, analyzing feedback from volunteers and partners, and developing new ways to expand our reach.
