Tlaquepaque, Mexico - January 2025 - The Curatorium of the Regional Centre for the Specific Formation of the Salesian Brother, ‘CRESCO America’, was held on 27 January. Present were Fr Hugo Orozco, Councillor for the Interamerica Region, Fr Gabriel Romero, Councillor for the America South Cone Region, a good group of Superiors and Delegates from various Provinces of America, while all the others participated online. During the meeting, an evaluation of the formation experience of the 1st and 2nd year Salesians and their formators was presented. The rector of the education centre was also present during the meeting, and the community life project and the formation project were also discussed. Finally, the specific documents of this formation house were approved: statutes, Directory and Curatorium Regulations. At one point during the meeting, Fr Ignacio Ocampo was welcomed. He is ending his years as MEM Provincial, and now begins to join the formation team as Vice-Rector of the CRESCO America community.
