Campo Grande, Brazil – November 2024 – Mmbers of the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA) in the Province of Campo Grande, Brazil (BCG) met on 9 November at the parish of Mary Help of Christians in Campo Grande, to discuss the association's statutes and establish guidelines for next year. The event was attended by 55 ADMA members, representing the different local centres of the Province. Fr Ricardo Carlos, BCG Provincial, was also present for the occasion, addressing a welcome message to those present. In addition to the Provincial, other Salesians spoke, such as Fr Pedro Borges, Rector of the community, Fr Augusto Issao Kian, who helped in the organisation of the activities, and Fr Adalberto Alves de Jesus, Rector of the presence in Indápolis (MS). Information was shared during the event regarding the International Congress of Mary Help of Christians held from 29 August to 1 September in Portugal and there was an invitation to participate in the next International Congress, which will be held in the Philippines. The meeting included the celebration of Mass and time for prayer and sharing among the participants, who recounted the difficulties and joys of their local centres. Finally, a spiritual retreat was scheduled at the Casa do Sonho in Chapada dos Guimarães (MT), on 23-24 March 2025.

DR Congo – November 2024 – From 7 to 10 November, the Mary Help of Christians Parish, located in the Kakyelo mission belonging to the Mary Most Holy Assumption Province of Central Africa (AFC), hosted a formation session for leaders of missionary Christian communities. This time for formation was organised by the parish priest, Fr Jean-Pierre Muhima Mutaka, SDB, with the support of the parish council, to respond to the pastoral and spiritual challenges encountered in this mission. All the leaders of the fifteen Christian communities of Kakyelo responded to the invitation. The session addressed issues essential for the spiritual and organisational development of the communities. "Let's get up and build our diocese in synodality" was the theme and those present were urged to actively participate in the construction of a Church founded on collaboration and were also prepared for conflict management and the financial self-management of the community. The session ended on Sunday 10 November with a solemn Mass presided over by Fr Kibilo Gaston, Vicar General of the Diocese of Sakania-Kipushi.

Budapest, Hungary – November 2024 – The Salesian Youth Movement in Hungary has organised a national meeting for Leaders and Pre-Leaders, called "Tarka", which in Hungarian means "coloured". The event took place from 8 to 10 November, at the esteemed Sts Peter and Paul Elementary School in Óbuda, Budapest, bringing together many young people for a rich and inspiring experience. The meeting was a true celebration of youth, faith and friendship. Through engaging discussions, informal meetings and a series of workshops, young participants were inspired to persevere in their quest for meaningful transformation. The workshops addressed a series of issues, including the mission of the Salesian VIDES NGO in Madagascar, the principles of change and transformation, the progression from couple to family life. The Hungarian delegates who participated in the Salesian Youth Synod also provided valuable food for thought. Other topics covered self-formation, the challenges of becoming a leader and effective strategies to foster connections with others. Young people were encouraged to embrace their unique identities and become agents of positive change in their communities. The weekend was not only time for learning and growth, but also an opportunity to get in touch with other leaders from all over the country. Through shared experiences, fun and prayer, the participants forged lasting ties and deepened their commitment to the Salesian mission.

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam – November 2024 – On 13 November, the Feast of Saint Artemides Zatti, the Sacred Heart Novitiate in Ba Thon joyfully celebrated the First Profession of Salesian Augustine Pham Van Long. The celebration was presided over by Fr Barnabas Le An Phong, Superior of the Salesian Province of Vietnam, and concelebrated by numerous Salesians. In his homily, Fr Barnabas recalled that being Salesians means embracing the concerns of young people, especially the poorest and the abandoned. At the end of the day, which was also an opportunity to celebrate Saint Artemides Zatti, Augustine participated, with his family and the Salesians present, in a moment of fraternal agape.
