Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - September 2016 - On 7 September, at the Emmaus Congress Centre, the Salesian Family welcomed Archbishop Mathew Kurian Vayalunkal, the new Apostolic Nuncio to Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. During the meeting, chaired by Fr Peter Baquero, SDB, Superior of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands (PGS), the Apostolic Nuncio said "I'm here in Papua New Guinea as a missionary."

Cordoba, Argentina - September 2016 - From 15 August to 3 September, Mother Yvonne Reungoat, Superior General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, carried out a visit to the Argentine Province of Cordoba (ARO). Between her various commitments Mother Yvonne attended the celebration for 125 years of FMA presence at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in the city of San Nicolás de los Arroyos. She went on a pilgrimage to the Salesian historical sites. She met FMA, SDB, Past Pupils, children and young people and representatives of the SYM. In Cordoba, she took part with the FMA and laity in the Provincial Assembly.
