(ANS – Seoul) – A vibrant exchange of passionate sharing took place from 14 to 17 December 2024, on the fifth floor of the Salesian Provincial House in Sin-gil-dong, Seoul, making even the early winter chill seem insignificant. Around 30 participants gathered for the winter seminar for initial formation, including 20 initial formandi and 9 confreres serving as their formators. Under the guidance of Fr Savio Seong Ha-yoon, they engaged in the study and discussion of a document titled "A Youth Ministry that Educates to Love," published by the Youth Ministry Sector at the Generalate in Rome in 2024.

(ANS – Cebu City) – Don Bosco FIS in partnership with Don Bosco Press, Inc., organized the Philippine Catholic Educators Congress (PCEC) 2024, bringing around 220 Catholic school leaders and educators from 17 different schools on December 7, 2024, at Don Bosco Technical College-Cebu. The conference, which centered on the theme “Strengthening Catholic Families Through School Pastoral Programs” underscored the vital role of schools in fostering strong family ties as part of the Catholic mission.

(ANS - Vitória) - On Tuesday, 3 December 2024, the Instituto Américo Buaiz (IAB) social promotion organisation held a ‘Meeting of Ideas’, an event dedicated to the presentation of achievements in 2024 and proposals for 2025. One of the highlights of the year was the innovative collaboration between IAB and CESAM, the Salesian educational centre in Vitoria, in the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo, in the area of involving adolescents in professional communication projects.
