01.⁠ ⁠Turin, Italy – January 2025 - The 43rd Salesian Family Spirituality Days with the theme: “Anchored in Hope, Pilgrims with the Youth”, took place in Turin-Valdocco from January 16 to 19, with around 375 in-person participants from around the world, along with thousands of online partecipants.
2.⁠ ⁠Anisakan, Myanmar – January 2025 - On January 31, the General Councillor for Formation, Fr. Ivo Coelho, presided over the Eucharistic celebration for the Feast of Don Bosco at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Anisakan. Among the approximately 300 attendees was also Fr. Bosco Nyi Nyi, Superior of the Salesian Vice-Province of Myanmar (MYM).

3.⁠ ⁠Rome, Italy – January 2025 – As a precursor to the official inauguration of the renovated Salesian Generalate dedicated to “Sacred Heart of Jesus” in June 2025, an informal inauguration was held on Friday, January 24, on the feast of St. Francis de Sales. It event was reserved for the outgoing Gen-eral Council, which had approved the renovation, and for the construction companies involved in the project. The event included official speeches, a blessing, and a fraternal gathering.
4.⁠ ⁠ Tlaquepaque, Mexico – January 2025 - On January 27, the Curatorium of the Regional Center for the Specific Formation of the Salesian Coadjutor, “CRESCO America,” was held. It was attended by Regional Councillors Fr. Hugo Orozco (Interamerica) and Fr. Gabriel Romero (South Cone America), along with a significant group of Provincials and Delegates from various American Provinces, some of whom joined online.

5.⁠ ⁠ Nairobi, Kenya – January 2025 - On January 26, more than four thousand faithful gathered for a solemn celebration at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Nairobi for the opening of the Holy Door of Hope by Archbishop Philip Anyolo of Nairobi. The presence of Don Bosco's relic within the shrine added even greater spiritual significance to the event.
6.⁠ ⁠Lahore, Pakistan – January 31, 2025 - On Don Bosco’s feast day, Salesians, members of the Sale-sian Family, and local clergy celebrated 25 years of Salesian presence in the country. Attendees in-cluded the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Penemote; Cardinal Coutts, Archbishop Emeritus of Karachi; Archbishop Arshad of Islamabad-Rawalpindi; Fr. Phuoc, SDB, Regional Councillor for East Asia-Oceania; and Duc Nam Nguyen, SDB, World Delegate for Salesian Cooperators and Past Pupils of Don Bosco.

7.⁠ ⁠Rome, Italy – January 2025 - On January 28, at the Salesian Pontifical University, the first official presentation of the complete 10-volume edition of the “Epistolary of Don Bosco”, curated by Fr. Fran-cesco Motto, SDB, took place. The 4,682 collected letters are now available to all as a monumental documentary heritage to deepen knowledge of the life, works, ideals, and spirit of the Saint of Youth.
8.⁠ ⁠Pétion-Ville, Haiti – January 2025 - On January 31, the Salesian community of Pétion-Ville also cel-ebrated the Feast of St. John Bosco, with over 2,500 faithful from all sectors of the Salesian work. The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Bishop Wismick Jean Charles, Auxiliary Bishop of Port-au-Prince, also marked the official launch of the jubilee year for the 75th anniversary of Salesian presence in the city.
