01. Rome, Italy -- December 2024 -- On Friday, December 27, at the General House of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Fr. Stefano Martoglio, Vicar of the Rector Major, presented to Mother General of the FMA, Mother Chiara Cazzuola, and her sisters, the message and video illustrating the theme of the 2025 Strenna "Anchored in Hope, Pilgrims with the Young."
02. Rome, Italy -- December 2024 -- The traditional Christmas meeting of the General Councillors of the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians took place on December 23 at the renovated Salesian Headquarters at Sacro Cuore. The meeting was presided over by Fr. Stefano Martoglio, Vicar of the Rector Major, and Mother General FMA, Mother Chiara Cazzuola.
03. Rome, Italy -- December 2024 -- On December 2, at the Salesian Headquarters in the "Sacro Cuore" in Rome, the final plenary session of the General Council before the 29th General Chapter of the Salesian Congregation began, presided over by Fr. Stefano Martoglio, Vicar of the Rector Major.
04. Krakow, Poland -- December 2024 -- From December 2 to 4, at the Salesian Theological Seminary in Krakow, the Don Bosco Mobile Journalism (DBMoJo) training course was held for the first time in Europe, promoted by the Social Communication Sector.
05. Embu, Kenya -- December 2024 -- From December 16 to 20, the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) Forum took place, an event that attracted over 500 young participants from various Salesian centers. The event was attended by the Apostolic Nuncio to Kenya, Archbishop Hubertus Maria Van Megen; the Bishop of Embu, Archbishop Peter Kimani; and various spiritual leaders.
06. Recife, Brazil -- December 2024 -- Over a thousand young people from the Salesian works of the Brazil-Recife Province (BRE) gathered from November 29 to December 01 at the Salesian College in the city to celebrate the 28th Salesian Youth Festival.
07. Quito, Ecuador -- December 2024 -- With a solemn Eucharist celebrated on December 4, the Salesian Center for Ongoing Formation in America began the celebration of its 50th anniversary, marking the start of a year of celebrations and initiatives to give thanks for the legacy received and to reflect and plan for the future.
08. Seoul, South Korea -- December 2024 -- On December 7, around 50 people, including Salesians of Don Bosco and members of the Salesian Family, gathered at the Provincial House in Shingil-dong, Seoul, to celebrate the inauguration of the new "Don Bosco" Communication and Culture Center, presided over by the Superior of the South Korea Province (KOR), Fr. Marcello Baek.
