01. Ariccia, Italy – October 2023 – The work of the Team Visit to the Mediterranean Region was completed on 6 October. After four days of meetings and reflections accompanied by Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major, and his Council, the Provincial Councils of Portugal, Spain, Italy, the Middle East and North Africa examined the theme "Building a future of hope".
02. Boretto, Italy – October 2023 – One year after the Canonisation of Brother Artemides Zatti, Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major, visited Boretto, Zatti's hometown, from 7-8 October. The two days were filled with events and appointments, including the conferral of honorary citizenship of the small Emilian municipality on the Rector Major.
03. Guwahati, India – October 2023 – From 17 to 25 October Fr Stefano Martoglio, Vicar of the Rector Major, visited the Salesian Province of India-Guwahati (ING) to accompany the consultations for the appointment of the new Provincial.
04. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – October 2023 - The Economer General of the Salesian Congregation, Brother Jean Paul Muller, visited the Maria Kidane Meheret Vice-Province of Africa Ethiopia-Eritrea (AET) from 13 to 16 October, accompanied by Dr. Janko J. H. Jochimsen.
05. Los Angeles, United States – October 2023 - The Grand Final of the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival (DBGYFF) took place on 13 October at the Don Bosco Youth Center in Los Angeles, involving various personalities and the announcement of the global winners.
06. Santiago, Chile – October 2023 – A meeting of Provincial Delegates for Youth Ministry of America was held from 13 to 18 October, led by Fr Miguel Angel García Morcuende, General Councillor for Youth Ministry, in the presence of Fr Joan Lluís Playà, Central Delegate of the Rector Major for the Salesian Family Secretariat, and Fr Rafael Bejarano, from the Youth Ministry Sector.
07. Rome, Italy – October 2023 – The inaugural event of the Salesian Don Bosco Tech Europe (DB Tech Europe) Network was held on 23 October. More than 100 people were present, including Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the Salesians, and the President of the network, Fr Miguel Angel García Morcuende, General Councillor for Youth Ministry.
08. Hong Kong – October 2023 – The Extraordinary Visitation by the Regional Councillor for East Asia-Oceania, Fr Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, to the Mary Help of Christians Province based in Hong Kong (CIN) began on 28 October.
