Vatican City, Vatican - October 2022 - On 8 October, in the "Paul VI" hall, Pope Francis received in audience the pilgrims of the Salesian Family who had come from all over the world for the canonization of Artemide Zatti. The Holy Father received the greetings of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, and offered a detailed profile of Zatti as a migrant, a relative of all the poor, a Salesian brother, and intercessor for vocations. 02. Vatican City, Vatican - October 2022 - On 9 October, in the square of St. Peter's Basilica, Pope Francis presided over the Eucharistic celebration and the Rite of canonization of Blessed Artemide Zatti, Salesian brother, and Msgr. John Baptist Scalabrini. Approximately 50,000 faithful were present in St. Peter's Square for the Holy Mass and the recitation of the Angelus, including numerous Salesians and Salesian brothers from across the globe. 06. Turin, Italy - October 2022 - On 11 October in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Valdocco, the Rector Major, Fr Artime, presided over the thanksgiving Eucharist for the gift of holiness of Artemide Zatti, with about 650 Salesian Brothers from all over the world.

Rome, Italy - October 2022 - On Monday 10 October, at the Argentine National Church in Rome, Argentine Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, Prefect of the Dicastery for Oriental Churches, presided over a Mass of thanksgiving for the canonization of Artemide Zatti for the faithful Argentines gathered in Rome, concelebrated, among others, by the Rector Major.
