Pordenone, Italy - 10 September 2021 - On 10 September, the city of Pordenone's mayor, Alessandro Ciriani, presented to the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, the fourteenth-century Seal of the Municipality, as a tribute to the almost centennial Salesian presence in the city. The presence of the Salesians in Pordenone, as stated on the plaque given to the Successor of Don Bosco, “is a source of pride and apical testimony to the rootedness of the values of the Salesian community in the city, which, step by step, is preparing to celebrate its first 100 years under the open, joyful and innovative guidance of Don Bosco, to whom many Pordenone students owe their education and instruction.”
