Italy - Extension of the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians

Turin, Italy - On April 24, 1922, work on the expansion plan of the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians began. After several years of study, on April 29, 1935, the Sanctuary was enlarged. On June 9, 1938, in the year of the 50th anniversary of the death of Don Bosco, the expansion of the Sanctuary was inaugurated.
