Ljubljana, Slovenia - 1920 - In 1919, soon after the end of World War I, the first Salesians arrived at the refugee camp in Kodeljevo, on the outskirts of Ljubljana. Here they began their first oratorian activities and then, in 1920, rented and renovated one of the buildings to make it their permanent residence. Then, five years later, in 1925, they blessed and opened the new facility, capable of accommodating between 200 and 300 young people.
