Edilene will be responsible for recording the scores, the victories and defeats of the various teams. Her appointment was made official by the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV), after a series of analyses and evaluations carried out during trial events. She participated in the training offered by the Olympic Committee in September 2015, through courses and ratings on various subjects.
In 2016 Edilene celebrated 25 years in the Salesian Family and 25 years as a physical education teacher. "I am very grateful for the support received from the Salesian School of El Salvador, especially for the evaluation events, which have been the key to this result" she said. Edilene has a degree in Physical Education from the Catholic University of Salvador (UCSAL) and a masters in Aquatic Activity and Health Promotion from the Bahia School, She studied Sports Management at the University of Bahia (UNEB) and is Managing Director for Beach Volleyball tournaments.
