The participants had the opportunity to develop their musical skills and express their creativity through a series of artistic activities. At the heart of the project were possibilities to enter the Lille Opera House, where students could discover what goes on behind the scenes of this prestigious institution. In particular, they met artists and technicians who allowed them to learn about the different professions that make up the world of theatre production.
By attending some representations of famous works, the students involved were able to appreciate the classical works in an authentic context, developing an authentic passion for the operatic world and for art. The final event, held at the Opera House, consisted of a concert and an exhibition of dioramas created by the young participants, in a ceremony that offered the participating students the opportunity to share with the community their creativity and what they had learned through the previous workshops.
The initiative carried out by the Salesian centre went beyond the simple educational program: it served to enrich the general culture of the participants, to promote a lasting artistic awareness and to make young people aware of the various professions related to the performing arts. In short, this project was a great opportunity to awaken the curiosity and passion of young people for music, dance and art in all its forms, while highlighting the importance of culture and musical heritage in today's society.
