Eurochild represents the largest network of children’s rights organisations in Europe, with 200 organisations and individuals in membership from across 42 European countries. Eurochild fights against child poverty and advocate for systemic reforms that address structural inequalities by calling for the prioritisation of public investment in childcare, education, healthcare, housing, and family support.
This collaborative event tackled the urgent issue of child poverty and social inclusion, providing substantive inputs to EU policy debates on combating child poverty, advancing children’s rights, and supporting families. Awareness and collaboration were fostered through fifteen workshops, networking gatherings and the sharing of good practices across Europe among civil society representatives, policymakers, practitioners, and researchers in children’s rights and wellbeing.
The outgoing and the new Eurochild Children’s Council (ECC) actively participated in the Convention. The empowered group of young people represented an incredible source of inspiration.
